Welcome to the Mountain Brook Inn!

Located squarely in the western Catskills of New York, The Mountain Brook Inn has been a signature place for quiet relaxation, exploration, and honestly, amazing food. From 1963 when Anna Wolfe built the property, and through the last 20 years when Gary Simmons further cultivated the inn’s charm and reputation, The Mountain Brook Inn has been the idyllic retreat for weary city-folk and travelers.

After watching too many Lifetime(™) and Holiday RomComs, Emily and I decided to follow in the footsteps of our favorite heroes and heroines and buy ourselves a little Bed and Breakfast in the county. Based on everything we’ve seen in movies, what could possibly go wrong?

After a couple years (and counting) of non-stop construction, we are excited to usher the Inn into its newest life.  With full room renovations including new bathrooms, kitchenettes, and floors, and new additions - Anna’s Pantry, and Gary’s Corner - we are determined to provide a perfect* Lifetime(™) experience in the best part of the Catskills. 

There is plenty of grass to touch, amazing food to eat, antiques and art to buy, and a great big blue room to explore. Why visit Brooklyn 2.0 out east, when you can find something truly special right here. Come sit by the fire, play some board games, read some books, and explore what your life could be without all of… that.
